While driving through Rivere du Loup, we stopped at the falls. We understood that the 33 meter waterfall provides hydroelectric power to the area. It is a great place to hike before or after a picnic or in our case lunch. Met lovely people along our walk. Would have liked to linger longer but we had to travel on!

A good spot to stop for a meal when driving between New Brunswick and Quebec City. Small town, very warm friendly people. Nice (and small) cascading falls that run through the city and end up at the Parc des Chutes (Water Falls Park).

If you go to this town, you have to go there. Is a park were locals usually go to jogging and walk with their pets. If you love walk through the nature, this is the place for you.

Beautiful trees. Nice trails to walk and a wide variety. But make sure that the dam is not diverting the water from the picturesque waterfall at the time of your visit. The water was turned off during the week of October 10th.

We had a great time hiking around with our three kids. The path markings were somewhat confusing, but we didn't have any problems, as the area wasn't too big that we could get lost.

A lovely park, almost deserted by humans but alive with birds, animals, insects, trees and flowers. Simply wonderful to stroll around and enjoy nature. The Chutes weren't quite as impressive as we'd expected but maybe rain had been in short supply!!

Spent one night in Riviere du Loup on our way out east. After dinner enjoyed a stroll in the park, viewing the water falls and the statues. There are a few different hikes available.
