Great way to get the necessary info on nearly anything going on in the area. The staff were more than will to answer any questions.

Ok, maybe she was just having a bad day, or something, but the young lady who finally gave us a few answers to our many questions was totally disinterested and not what I would call an asset to this Information Center. Needless to say, we left shortly thereafter and moved on, literally.

I love this area and have done many hikes, skis, snowshoes, backpacking and camping in the area. This time was a simple drive through the park with many stops to take pictures. Not as busy as some of the other National Parks, but just as amazing.

I stop every time I am driving through here. Great tips on wildlife in the area, restaurants and road conditions. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful with stuffed wildlife to enjoy. Never been disappointed.

The gal at the desk was so helpful in providing us the National Park pass to speed up the process of not having to wait at the gate. Which was a time saver as we just went on through without having to wait in line. The gal also explained we could change from a daily pass to a year pass with ease. We did that as we were not sure how many days we were going to be staying in the Parks. We did end up getting the year pass as it was economical for us. Now we can go back as long as it is before the end of next September.

We were on a road trip through BC recently, and had stopped in Radium Hot Springs. While were weren't going to be doing any serious hiking on this trip, we chatted with the friendly Visitor Officer, who made some suggestions just in case we did. We're through this area every once in a while, so we'll be sure to return and seek expert advice here once we have hiking on the agenda in this area.

Good Afternoon BenLar137, Thank your for your review. This time of year can be tricky for serious hikers, it appears free and clear of snow but in fact we still have a fair amount in the backcountry. We hope you found some great Valley bottom trails and that we'll see you again soon. Regards, Kara

We go in there when we get to Radium. Another reviewer mentioned it as being the first stop. Yes, it is. We have always been welcomed there by Parks Canada staff in a professional and friendly manner. We have felt perfectly welcome to use the washroom, which is free for visitors. There are some displays on that level, as well.

Thanks Parks Canada for having such a wonderful information/rest stop/visitors centre!

The small grocery store next door is great too. It is handy, and has many items for the traveller.

Happy travels, dear Tripadvisor Friends!

We had very good experience with Parks Canada customer service! They were very friendly and helpful ! Our kids enjoyed the animals display. It is small but very cool centre.
If you go with your kids make sure to pick up Little explorer booklet. After finishing it our kid will do oath to protect the nature and animals and will receive certificate and necklace.
