We booked one day of Cat skiing the last week of February. Fortunately we had tons of snow during our visit so ski conditions were great. Like most places, there were positives and negatives with this operation. First the positives. The guides were very friendly and helpful to the group. The pickup at our condo was very accommodating and made... More

My husband and I had booked 3 days of cat skiing last season with this cat skiing operation. We drove 11 hours up there, only to be told upon arrival that there was no cat skiing, due to unusually low snow conditions. No refund was available, but we could "defer" to the 2016 season. We also had to find alternate... More

Our experience was top notch from start to finish. It was easy to follow the guide to the staging lodge, hot drinks were served while we completed our waivers and our rental skis were adjusted to our boots. The travel in the snow cat is comfortable and scenic. The guides did a great job of explaining the safety rules and... More

I spent 2 days cat skiing with FWA in February 2016 and had a great experience. It was my first cat skiing experience and found the guides and operation very helpful in making it a great one. There was plenty of snow and their route selection was great. I'd definitely go back to FWA and hope the snow gods are... More

My husband and I booked a day trip with Kim to drive through the mountains and look for wildlife. We were not disappointed. Kim drove us back through a lot of dirt "roads" in the mountains. We spent hours driving around to look at different areas. He was able to spot a couple mountain goats for us to see. We... More

I skied two days last week with FWA, and had a wonderful experience. This season has obviously left something to be desired in terms of snowfall, but that didn't diminish the quality of our days. I was impressed, in particular, with the quality of the team. Every person I interacted with at FWA seemed genuinely dedicated to making sure I... More

The company canceled my day of cat skiing, due to poor weather conditions, which is fair enough - except that they refused a full refund and kept $100 per person! I had interpreted the non-refundable clauses stated at the time of booking ($100 at initial booking, and then full amount 14 days prior) was in the event that I wanted... More

Nine runs with fresh powder on every run. The powder was up to 3 feet deep, and there was good food while riding back up in the snow cat. The guides were very experienced, made sure that all riders had a turn at the front of the group, and they were there to help when we got stuck in deep... More
