What an amazing place to visit , The castle itself although ruins still contains all the romance and history of its day, we had a guided tour and really enjoyed listening to all the "secrets" this castle keeps

Most people with children take picnics. The eating place is not very big.

Entry and carpark free to those who have joined the National Trust; the cost for adults is £10.30 for an adult; less for OAPs. £5.15 for a child. Car parking is steep £3. £25.75 for a family ticket.
