Ironworks Distillery opened its doors to the public in June 2010. Situated in the old town of Lunenburg and residing in the building that used to be the old marine blacksmith shop, we create small batches of artisan spirits using produce from the Maritimes. We make vodka and brandy using Annapolis Valley apples, Pear Eau-de-vie, Rum, Gin and several delicious fruit liqueurs. Tastings are free. Tours are available.

Friendly staff offering information about their products and processes. You can sample everything they have. The vodka is so smooth you can drink it straight.

It was recommended by a friend to stop here, was glad I did. The staff is very friendly and informative. You can sample all the flavors. I bought the rhubarb to bring back to the states. There is a tour you can take.

mslNJ - our thanks to your very helpful friend for suggesting us as a stop on your trip! The Rhubarb Esprit liqueur is really popular in the summertime and goes wonderfully with a tot of gin and some smashed frozen strawberries. Enjoy.
