I went sea kayaking, for my very first time, on my 29th birthday, 5 years ago. Carl was awesome! He's very knowledgeable regarding sea life. Not only is the scenery beautiful, it's a great learning experience. I found a message in a bottle, which turned out to be a love note from a wife to her deceased fisherman husband. This... More

We booked our excursion for the early morning. The day started with a silver grey blanket of fog that teased the reflections in the still glass of the water. Our guides were knowledgeable, personable and fun. This was our first attempt at sea-kayaking but not our last. The scenery and the stories made this a very worthwhile experience. We wouldn't... The end of the season, a beautiful day, with two other paddlers and two guides. Carl was an amazing guide, with so much local knowledge about wild-life, history, and local color. We paddled in and among little islands and out to the open ocean to see harbor seals. I loved every minute of it, felt well-equipped and supported for the... More

We were a group of six with our extremely witty guide David the Tazmanian and a local lovely Nancy came along to take us on a historical adventure of beauty and local facts. There is a vast selection of scenery and the ride is manageable for the beginner or experienced kayaker. Please stop at The General while there for local... More

We were a group of eight with two guides. We spent a fabulous day kayaking around the Blue Rocks and surrounding islands. We stopped for a nice lunch on one of the small islands at the halfway point. For most of the day I was paddling near Fin, one of the guides and he had a wealth of information about... More

You pull up to a quaint sleepy location with free parking facilities ,toilet and changing area. There is a warm welcome from the staff with an introduction to the rest of your group. The equipment is laid out ready for you and is explained in easy to understand jargon of what it is and what it's for and more importantly what... We booked a paddle with Pleasant Paddling in mid - August and were led by Finn on a beautiful trip through Blue Rocks. The scenery was breathtaking and the geological history of the area was informative and interesting. We are seasoned kayakers and know the safety basics, but it was comforting to see the care taken with the less experienced... More

We had a great time. Both my husband and I were first time sea paddlers. The instructions were clear and fun and the instructors were knowledgeable. The area is magnificent and two hours went by very quickly. Great work guys, keep it up!
