For more than 90 years, The Dory Shop has been building traditional Banks dories and other classic wooden boats for fishermen and recreational boaters. Located on the waterfront in Old Town Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is one of the oldest continuing production commercial wooden boat shops in North America and a delight for lovers of wood and boats. See dories and even wooden schooners on the build. Boat building classes also offered.
