We walked the trail this weekend with our parents who are in their 70s. It was a very well groomed trail with plenty of stability for walking, firm with lots of traction. The trail portions we walked would be considered easy for hikers however the shelter from wind, the wildlife and the scenery were very beautiful. I would walk this... More

The trails are maintained year round and offer lots of photo opportunities! If you have an extra... More

Great hiking, lots of nature! We hiked there a week ago and really enjoyed the afternoon! Make sure to wear sneakers or something with good ankle suppors as there are a few rocky areas around both the big and little ponds!

Beautiful trail system, lots of benches and info boards along the way. There are quite a few geocaches placed through the trail network as well.

Great trail system that is well maintained throughout the year. Trails are accessible in the winter and are regularly. The trails are the gem of GF-W and should be appreciated. Great for nature lovers, afternoon strollers or those looking for a longer distance hike.

Beautiful trail and happy to see local residents using it especially with their children. It was lovely to see berries along the trail. Very natural.

Beautiful walking trails that take you into nature with many excellent views and places to rest or take a photo. If your in GFW you should take a walk here.

This is my favorite walking trail winter ,spring, summer & Fall. I always take a camera and take photos of the many varieties of trees, the loons on the pond, and the ducks that nest in the bulrushes along the boardwalk section of the trail. In winter skating on the pond is often possible and the many rest spots with picnic...
