A great place to stop on the Alaska Highway. Tons of history and heritage on display, with several buildings full of amazing artifacts and photographs. Even more interesting is the huge collection of classic cars, trucks, equipment, etc. at the museum.

Just visited several museums in the Yukon and Alaska and this one was the best by far. Lots inside and out. You could spend hours here. They have lots of buildings to go thru including an antique vehicle shop you shouldn't miss.

I was told by a friend to stop here on our Northern Circle route. He was certainly correct. It is full of interesting artifacts, cars, trucks, etc etc. Any age group would find something of interest.

An amazing collection of a vast array of collectibles. Merl, the 85 year old curator was there and showed off his awesome collection of classic and antique cars. Well worth the very low ticket price. Very nice and informative folks throughout the museum.
