If you are interested in the history the North West and of RCMP in Canada and the days of the Frontier's, then the Fort Mcleod Museum is iis the place for you. Please stay for the RCMP musical horse ride, definitely worth seeing!

A very nice collection of Indian artifacts and other artifacts of the Northwest Mounted Police. Very informative. We spent about 2 hours to take in all the information. Travel brochures suggest an hour. Don't be in a rush and you will likely enjoy the visit...More

Plan to spend at least a couple hours walking through the museum and around The Fort. The displays are authentic and give you an insight into life in the 1800's. The atmosphere makes you feel like you are part of it. It's worth the money...More

This was a must-do activity if you like history. There is lots to read and lots of artifacts to view. The fort structure is well worth the exploration. They do a mounted ride demonstration every day and that is worth the time spent watching it....More
