We visited the Fort Museum and watched the musical ride. The history of the NWMP in Canada was very interesting. The musical ride was also impressive especially in the heat. A very worthwhile visit. You wont be disappointed. Would definitely return.

Nice little museum. Lots of good stuff in the gift shop. 14-22 year old locals put on a musical ride several times a day. Well done. Don't forget to get your icecream next door!

Called in early may during the week. We were the first through the door. Displays go into a lot of detail on the history of the rcmp and the fort. Could have spent a lot longer there.

We didn't have long to spend here but was impressed that the fort has been preserved. It is small and easily accessible. We didn't see the Musical Ride, but it would have been fun. An informative glimpse into the history of the present-day RCMP. The...More

Very informative of how and why the N. W. Mounted Police came into being, their long march West, why they came West and how they became the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The Musical Parade with 8 horses with riders dressed as Mounties was very good....More
