It's amazing what you can do by just slinging some rope out of of tower window! We are slightly biased in our review thanks to our three year old's reaction of actually seeing "Rapunzel's" hair hanging out of the tower. She totally believed this was...More

Even as two grown ups in their early thirties, we loved it! There aren't really any other attractions in town so it wasn't difficult to find. The setting was just beautiful and I really felt like I was in the Rapunzel fairy tale! It costs...More

Naturally a visit here was a must. It has been somewhat decorated and there is quite impressive torture chamber in the tower, but it could have been done even nicer.....

Relatively newly restored, with "Angstloch" (=dunegon) deep and great views from the top of the tower. (Free admission for hotel guests).

Rapunzel tower is one of the stops on the Grimm tales route, The children loved it and we loved it too. Looked so familiar with the rope hanging from the tower top :) and the setting is absolutely delightful.

Actually it is the only thing to do in Trendelburg, but if you stay hosted in the Burg Hotel (the castle of Rapunzel) your experience will be complete. Perfect to take good pictures and spend a day with family or couple.
