Marche walking holiday between Mounts and sea

This stretch of coastline offers visitors the best of both worlds: basking at pristine white rock beaches or hiking coastal trails completely immersed in nature. At 572 metres, the mountain provides travellers amazing views of picturesque limestone cliffs that contrast strikingly with the deep blues of the Adriatic Sea. On this eco-friendly walking tour led by a local naturalist you will experience the natural beauty of this stunning area up close, and familiarize yourself with its native species, both plants and wildlife, as well as the unique sites and ancient villages dotting the coastline.

Amazing products they have. We purchased many salves & a few infusions unavailable elsewhere. Definitely worth seeing & making a few purchase for your health.

I was taking two friends of mine to what I remembered it was a nice place and what I found? Some bad "architect" decided to "restore" the historycal place the farmacy was, taking off all the charm, all the feeling, all the history the place had, setting a squallid entrance (no more wooden floor! No more colorful potteries! ) like a shabby grocery was back on the 90s. If an ordinary Italian citisen wants to restore his own house, has to respect endless rules but for a centuries old farmacy someone could destroy everything and kill the whole place down. I would like to know who is responsible for such a shame.

I had no idea that monks lived in the area making these products. The place itself is quirky and there is a sudden aroma of smells as soon as you enter the farmacia. I bought various products at a very decent price, and I will certainly be going back for more! Great find.

This Monastery and Old Pharmacy is a little more out of the way on the route to Cortona than we had planned but the drive through the national park was beautiful. We didn't tour anything but the pharmacy and purchased hand made soaps and liquors still made by the monks using ancient recipes. The soaps are very nice. I didn't inquire into any type of tour and we were left to make our way through the rooms. It was not that large and most items had descriptions in English. If I had brought my reading glasses I might have spent more time reading the stories. I am not so sure that I would make a special trip to the monastery if I had it to do again since the diversion left us with much less time in Cortona
