Wonderful falls in an exceptional environment. We visited starting from the Semongkong Lodge and experienced the abseiling organised by them. A unique way to live the environment.

This waterfall should be in the top ten places to visit in Africa. Its truly awesome to visit. Take some food and go for a picknick and spend late afternoon here as the sun goes down for the most amazing pictures.

If you're in Lesotho and planning to be in mountains, don't miss this beautiful fall that is the midst of nowhere. Pristine and spectacular and scenic. You can sit by the big rocky outcrop and watch the highest fall in Africa flowing majestically.

The falls were beautiful, and no matter the time of day that would be the case, but for optimal viewing and photography, I'd recommend waiting until after lunch. The sun was directly behind the falls when we went and it made photography/viewing a little tricky.

There is NO camping site at the falls. You are not allowed to camp anywhere. The closest ander safe site is at Semonkong Lodge some 5km away.
