Learn what it is like to be a part of the Islands biggest industry. Growing potatoes is what we're known for. Step back in time to see how it all started and where we are today. Learn about the history of O'Leary and what farming truly means to everyone who lives here. Then make sure you stop in at the... More

This was the only place that was open on Canadian Thanksgiving but at a very reasonable price we toured the place that gave us so much information about the potato and production of the potato. It also has a good display of local artifacts and farm machines. The gift shop is good.

We drove out of way to go see this museum and I am glad we did . It gives you a chance to see all about the Potato industry in the PEI area. The big potato is a little disappointing as it is not very lifelike. When you are finished the tour of the museum you can go to the... More

We ordered poutine and French fries. Both were very good and we would go again, good portions. Potato side of museum was informative, but not for little kids. Souvenir store is fun.

Great museum for PEI history buffs, and a delightful experience for families. The displays are amazing! The restaurant inside the museum offers excellent food, and don't forget to order some seaweed pie! Don't let the light green color fool you. This dessert is simply amazing!

The big potato could have been a little more realistic. Nothing in the museum except a grocery company promoting themselves felt very new. The museum felt more serious than it needed to be. I mean, potatoes are funny. One, totally delightful, exception was the potatoes in coffins used to describe various diseases. An exhibit on the potato in popular culture... More
