We stumbled upon Lighthouse Park and were wonderfully surprised. It is a free park north of Vancouver... easy drive and a quiet oasis. Not as crowded as Stanley Park and has lovely views of Vancouver and the lighthouse. The trails are well manicured and easily...More

It isn't crowded, in a very quiet and local neighborhood. The park is beautiful, fresh air with a lot of big trees. Pleasant hiking

Long drive from Van, across the bridge and the twisty turny way to get to the park. Once you get here, washrooms are incredibly clean and pathways were great to hike and sit on the rocks and gaze at the city.

We walked about 2 miles at Lighthouse Park. Great scenes of the sea and wonderful walking through the forest. Lots of fun!

Don't waste your time going here! Firstly, the parking was extremely limited and so frustrating! We waited for what seemed like at least 10 minutes for the rudest, most selfish lady in a van with B.C. license plates-you know who you are-shame on you!. She...More

A nice short walk with a nice view at the end. Great place to watch the sunset. Would make sure to bring a jacket and head torch if you are going out in the evening as it can get dark in the forest.

A beautiful park with really great walks/hikes. Some are easy and others range from difficult to challenging. The park is the location of the lighthouse and is really old growth. No smoking in the park.

On a weekend the parking is packed. The hike is nice to get to the lighthouse and the view across the water is fantastic.

I've been wanting to visit lighthouse park for some time so we decided to venture on a Wednesday hoping for less traffic. Unfortunately we still hit traffic coming in but the park was well worth it. Lots of parking near the front and the path...More

There isn't any overflow parking but there are a number of residential side streets that are 5-10 min from the park entrance. When we were there, we actually parked 3 streets down and asked one of the city bylaw officers who... More

Yes it's safe but you do have to practice responsible parenting as the park is a wilderness area and has cliffs and slippery rocks near water. Stay on marked trails and hold children's hands when near the water you will be... More
