The West Vancouver Aquatic Centre is a very busy pool, hot tub, sauna with a fully equipped weight room above on the second floor. There are fitness and spin classes offered in other areas of the building.

I brought my two kids here 4 and 5 over the weekend. The place was buzzing busy but there was still plenty of room for the little ones to swim around. The pool is well designed with shallow sections as well as deep ends. The stream section was super cool and very popular with the kids - it adds a... More

hoiw soon will it be doomed by foreign investment with ZERO interest in local infrastructure and future appreciation in non-monetary terms? No doubt we've benfited from laissez-faire immigration/land purchase policies short term. long term it is the regions, and the nations, undoing.

This facility was built for the Vancouver Olympics so it's fairly well equipped, new and the pool uses ozone (not chlorine) which is easier on your skin.

It's always a pleasure to swim at the West Vancouver Aquatic Centre, it's bright, clean even though it's an enclosed pool you get the felling that you are outside due to the contemporary design. It has all the amenities you would expect from s great aquatic centre, but they do it in style.

The aquatic centre in the West Vancouver Recreation Centre is ideal for parents with kids at a loose end. Open to the public (check schedule) and a family friendly place. Great water features: Water slide, current alley, fountains, bubbles, and the most friendly and helpful staff ever. They have life jackets for little ones and tubes and paddle boards for... More

An excellent facility, can't say enough good things about it. The picture above is of the old pool before the renovations and the addition of a leisure pool, waterslide, spray features and a family hot tub & family changeroom. There is something for everyone at this aquatic centre. The lobby is great too with kids activities on weekends and a... More

I was a frequent user during our vacation. Three pools plus hot tubs etc. Well run. Not overly busy and suitable for all ages.

An extensive facility, an airy bright space that is elegant from the main roadway of Marine Drive: see this link re awards: http://hcma.ca/about/awards/). It is central to the library, the beach, shopping, accommodation for the elderly, and the awards listed are also for accessibility and green attributes. It replaces the old facility on Marine Drive a few blocks away. This... More
