Just an hour drive from the city. The water is clear and cool. Lots of good picnic spots near or a short distance from the water. Bring your kayak or paddleboard!

Beautiful clear water, serenity and stunning scenery. Get there early or go during the week to get the best experience, as this place is popular.

The pond is good for kids who don't need a license if under 16. The nearby Elbow River is good fishing. Adults need a license except Alberta residents over 65. Hooks can be sharp but not barbed.
