Unfortunately the lighthouse at the Wild Pacific Trail in Ucluelet is not open for the public. It's rather small, and there's not much to see. We do not think it is worth the 2 hour trip from Port Alberni just to see the lighthouse .

I love going out there ... if it's a nice day and the waves are pounding onto the rocks it's absolutely amazing... even if it's raining side ways it's still a great place to be. Whether your alone or with friends there is so much to see. Not really a good idea to wonder onto the slippery rocks tho as... More

I've been here twice, once in early April and then last May. The actual lighthouse itself is nothing amazing, but the trail around it is absolutely beautiful. Following the rocky cliffs and ocean along the whole trail. When I went it was calm, but this is a great place to storm watch when it's stormy. The trail is very easy.... More

This is an easy trail with great rewards! If you are agile enough then climb the rocks beside the lighthouse and maybe glimpse the whales as they pass by! If not the action of the waves are always entertaining! There are many view points along the trail and benches to relax on while you watch seals feed or eagles swoop... More

This is a great trail loop around the headland at Amphitrite Point. Trail is quite well maintained and suitable for a variety of walkers. Being up on the headland, you get to see crashing waves without being at risk of being washed away (or more concerning, have your kids washed away). We happened to be here during a big herring... Nothing to see here. The must do is the Wild Pacific Trail. Use the parking as a starting point to do a trail loop. Good for the kids. Nice views.

My husband and I enjoyed the light house loop trail very much! Went in March and got to see some nice waves crashing on those rocks.

We start the trail from this parking lot. Lots of information. Lots of different places to take pictures of the Lighthouse, only wish you could walk around in front of it, or go inside.
