You wouldn't think walking through row after row of other people's signs would be a great way to kill some time...but it is actually quite entertaining. Some are just license plates, but others are actually artifacts from people's trips-- telling you where they're from, where...More

We had read about the forest so we made a sign before leaving home. They have just installed 37 new posts for folks like us to use. It is really fun to walk around.

Worth the stop. No matter where you are from in North America it's very likely you will find a sign from your hometown or some place you have a connection to. Very cool spot for travelers.

If you're in Watson Lake you have to visit this. Who would have thought that a bunch of signs pinned to trees could be so fascinating but you can spend hours wandering around here reading them and trying to spot some from home!

Worth getting a Shot. Signs from all over, walk through to get the full impact and appreciation. Great place.

Just did a quick stop, but the sings are fun to get out and see what you can find in the "forest" visitors center is also right behind the signs.

Stopped to view the many many signs at Sign Post Forest in Watson Yukon; some 16000+ signs. Even found a sign from Manitoba!

as others have stated there is no permit required but it is difficult to find a space . After you hang the sign take a picture and make a note as to where you put it in case you ever want to go back one day and see it again... More
