Very cool way to spend time before flight.

I wish every airport had something like this. Time flies as you stroll past the paintings. Amazing and educational!

I have been to this museum several times, and always have different feeling about the art -amazing pictures of Rembrandt, Vermeer, etc.

Had a great visit here. Loved seeing rembrandt and van goghs up close. Art from many different dutch periods. Great place to go on a rainy day such as this. Some old jewellry and weapons displays were cool as well.

Most reviews are about the "Rijksmuseum" in Amsterdam city, not the small museum at the airport. This afternoon I was just landed at schiphol airport and tried to find the museum but this museum ( at the airport ) was closed since about one and half year ago, so don't waste your time to find this museum. They plan to... More

The Rijksmuseum has greatly been modernized since my last trip a long time ago. Most of the people who go there want to see Rembrandt's Night Watchmen. It has facilities for the handicapped and parking. From the parking area, you take the lift up to the street level and it is a short walk to the entrance of the museum.... More

This review is for the Rijksmuseum mini gallery at Schiphol airport. It's perfectly set with rotating displays for travelers who are connecting at the airport but don't have the ability to get the the Rijksmuseum downtown. We love this place. Great gallery with lots of nice gifts and mementos. The gallery is up stairs from the gift shop. The paintings... More

The scale of some of the pieces is stagering, the detail fantastic. The best in my opinion was the building itself.

Our guide, Steven, brought this place to life and made viewing the highlights of the extensive collection manageable. My visit was a start and I will return on my next stay in Amsterdam.

Such a well organised museum! We had got the audio guide downloaded on the phone, the museum had wi-fi connection and we faced no problem connecting the audio guide to wi-fi.

Forget almost all the pictures you see here. These are taken at the real Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, which is of course a good reason to visit Amsterdam. At Schiphol airport between pier E and F you can see a selection of about 10 masterpieces from the Rijksmuseum. It is clear you cannot expect the highlights, but still it is very... More
