Great little links course

The course at Ardglass is in a beautiful location, but pray that the wind doesn't blow too hard. The first hole is pretty unique and there are plenty more challenges on the course for first timers and locals. A very friendly spot and a pristine clubhouse full of character. Food and beverage are good ( or walk across the street... More

Amazing location for a golf course. Beautiful views. You have the wind to contend with. The world's oldest club house!

Can only agree with the other reviews, what a great golf course. We had warm fine weather, thank goodness, this would be very difficult in poor weather. Although 'short' compared to the Australian courses I'm used to, it played quite long, especially as we had no caddy and were playing it for the first time. Lost a few balls early... More

You start off by checking in at the clubhouse, which has a plaque that reads, "Oldest Golf Clubhouse in the World. Built 1405." Great photo op! From the first hole, you have great views with lots of elevation changes. The greens were excellent and very fast. Caddies were a big help, and the young guys who caddied for us were... More

Had a great day of golf on a very scenic golf course right on the Irish sea. Many holes right on the water and all had a great view. Easier golf course than some others but in great condition and well priced.

What great location and course this is! People also super friendly to us as guests. The course might not be the longest you have played but you will find enough of other interesting challenges. Guaranteed...

Our group really loved this place. Lot of great holes and great views looking out to sea. Very playable and a bit more relaxing to play than some of the more famous links courses Certainly a fun start with the castle, cannons and flags. Love the advice on one from the course guide, "all of Ireland on your right" Lots... More

This is an amazing course. We secured caddies which made the round even more enjoyable. Great pub to follow the round. Have a pint!

Always s friendly welcome. This course plays two ways...no wind = very short and able to score well. Wind = impossible. True links...with some breathtaking holes...if this course was based in California they'd call it Pebble Beach! A must play...if your golf game sucks, it's a beautiful walk

Visit occasionally, friendly staff, great food and a view and location to Die for. Scenery like you have never experienced and located in a 500 year old castle.
