I went with friends and family last night (Jan 27th). We had a cracking night. The line up was excellent and the staff were really friendly. The bar area had been redecorated and looked much better for it and there were plenty of staff working...More

Easily as good as the Comedy Store in London, and will bigger name acts. We are repeat visitors here, the line-ups are always superb. Reginald D Hunter was brilliant, as was Geoff Boyz. Even the up and coming acts were great. There a problem with...More

Great night out at this cosy local venue. Reginald D Hunter was brilliant. As with all comedy though, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We will certainly be returning.

Some great acts started here and you will definitely have a great night out. Seating is close to the acts, so if you do not want to be picked on, sit at the sides near the back. Great small intimate venue for holding these types...More

Third visit last night. Best line up yet with 3 quality acts. Usually a sellout so get there early to bag a seat unless you are up for the front row

I have been to this event as a regular for years. Comedy is a subjective thing so can never love all acts. That said as Meatloaf famously never said 3 out of 4 ain't bad. Getting 4 acts means there should be something for everyone....More

I have been coming here for several years, and it's just keeps getting better and better. The acts are great, and the venue is a nice size - big enough to get full and have real atmosphere, but small enough to still feel intimate and...More

Can't recommend this venue enough to lovers of comedy. We have seen TV comedians like Russell Kane and unknowns from the Edinburgh Festival, but always have a brilliant night. The standard is incredibly high and the small venue has a friendly, intimate atmosphere.

I'm pretty sure there isn't. However the humour and language is often very adult. I went the same night as my daughter (19) and her boyfriend and was jolly glad we sat apart!!
