From the outside this place looks great. We missed the main season to get in but if you check the web site you can find out when it does tours during the winter.

Huge house but only some rooms open. Guided tour. Our guide, Polly, was first class with a fascinating talk built around the family history. We were also lucky to get an introduction by the current owner. Some gardens to go round as well. Worth taking...More

This is based in a quaint county village which makes you feel you are in a different time peacefully untouched and pleasant to visit 👍

Loved the house and the tour is a must, as you get a unique guide, who loves questions and loves the history of the family who live there. A must place to visit if in the area.
