Marine park

The place name says it all!

Great place but like everything in these waters needs some kayaking experience. Currents and winds can be strong! For non-experienced kayakers or backpackers, there is an option to grab a water taxi from Port Hardy to Bell Island.

Great walk.

A beautiful stroll along the waterfront as the sun was setting. We even got to ser a cruise ship go by in the distance. Port hardy is nice and quite so it is a very peaceful place to walk along the water.

very nice

enjoyed walking around there people we ran into are very frienldy can't say much for the place we stayed in port hardy (quatse campground) but other than that I enjoyed touring around port hardy

Fantastic wildlife!

Toured around the God's Pocket Marine Park area for a week by kayak. Stayed at Nolan Point on Balaclava Island. Numerous humpback sightings daily, Orca, sea otters, scores of eagles. Beautiful area. Nice west coast feel.

City park

Nice city park with great view. Map shows it on the south side of the channel but in fact it's in town across from North Shore Inn.
