This is my first hike in Canada and this hike was amazing. I'm not a person who exercises a lot, (and I weigh 108kg so I'm not a skinny guy). If I was able to do this hike, I believe you all can do it....More

If you are into an adventurous hike, you never know what you are going to see. I strongly suggest caring a can of bear spray. I have not fished Crypt for a few years now but when I did the Golden Trout were plentiful.

Fantastic trail to hike along and well worth the time and energy to reach the end. This hike is not for the faint of heart as it takes all day and requires a lot of hard work. There are spots that might scare people that...More

A very humbling experience. They say 2.5-3 hours up and 2-2.5 back down. We set out at 8:50 made it up by noon, rested 30 minutes and back down by 3:45- just in time for the 4:00 boat LOL. A fantastic trail with the tunnel...More

This is an amazing and rewarding hike. You take the ferry across the beautiful lakes to eventually arrive at crypt landing. Remember that the ferry only returns a few times per evening. I would HIGHLY recommend catching the earliest ferry to the island to maximize...More

Get on the earliest boat and have food and plenty of water (3-4L pp). It was about 28 degrees celcius when we went so leave on the first boat and aim for 4pm or 530pm boat back. If you have a pack raft then take...More

Crypt lake trail was good. But I doubt it is the best in western canada. Never mind the Top 20 in the world. Although the Lake is stunning and there is a MASSIVE waterfall. Other than that the views aren't better than others I've seen....More

Let me first start by saying this was not terrifying like some other people have said. The way back down in the cabled areas was a little trickier than on the way up, and it's important to give people enough space to think about their...More

I'd wait. it's a tough hike for a younger and even tougher for you being 6 months pregnant The earliest boat collection is 1600. so you'd be there from 1000 - 1600.
