The insect portion of the gardens is quite educational. I didn't see a lot of butterflies but a very cute parrot enjoyed greeting visitors. The Turtles throughout the gardens and the flamingoes were enjoyable to watch.

Part of our package was an optional stop at the Butterfly Gardens. Incredible! Butterflies everywhere and the plants are incredible!

If you like butterflies you will love this. It is really warm inside and when they say take you jacket off, listen cause it's really warm inside. The butterflies are amazing to see and well worth it.

We toured the Butterfly Gardens before going to Butchart Gardens. It was a delightful hour and half. It is amazing how many butterflies are there. You get to see them upfront and personal. Just beautiful.

This is a pretty neat attraction. We went mainly because it was close to Butchart Gardens and we were very limited on our time to sightsee. I loved the giant creepy bugs in the insectarium, but my favorite were the flamingos. I thought it was...More

Yes they are. We just ask that you are mindful of the other guests and that the feet stay on the paths and not in the garden beds. Thank you and enjoy your visit!
