This is an amazing place, really have to come here to see the difference. It was cold and windy and my first time tried sand skiing. Really cool but have to prepare a mask before coming.

The views and the feeling of being, quite literally, in the middle of a desert was incredible. However, it's a family/ touristy park. The rides aren't all that exciting, the camel ride is definitely worth it (albeit quite short) but the view and the atmosphere is great. And my best advice would be to wear the sand socks or go... More

Went here while I was traveling Inner Mongolia with colleagues, and we were all a little disappointed. There are many attractions, but none of them are particularly exciting, and some of the queues took over an hour. It wasn't terrible, but it's not a place I'd recommend in a hurry.

Some locals took me to this place. We drove for about 3 hours from Hohhot(there was some traffic getting out of Hohhot even though it was a weekday. The journey was quite scenic though decent toilet stops are difficult to find. When you reach the desert, there's a huge decent toilet near the huge car park. Do go to the... More
