Established in 1943, this company has pioneered developments in the New Zealand wine industry and now exports to 17 countries. Nobilo and Selak wines are available for purchase and tasting (by appointment only, maximum group of 30 at once) in the shop. There is a picnic area for the family to enjoy lunch. Vineyard and winery tours are not yet available.

It's a shame this place is closing because we had a lovely tasting here, beautiful wines and outstanding service. Loved it. Also loved the ginger cat hanging around. Big place, small feel. Hard to find!

This was such a privilege to visit such an iconic Cellar Door, we even met and chatted with Mark Nobilo whilst we were there. The ladies in the tasting room had excellent knowledge and made the visit very special.

We stepped into the House of Nobilo Winery (a part of Constellation Brands now) and it was fantastic. We had a great range of wines to try including; Kim Crawford and Selaks. The two ladies were very friendly and knowledgable sharing their expertise and passion....More

They have a good set-up for wine tasting and tours of the winery. Staff are knowledgeable and happy to help, give advice and talk wine.
