It is over 20 years since I last went round theSS Great Britain. The whole site is greatly changed and a wonderful exhibition. Restoration and refitting to the original plans makes this a very special place. The dry dock has been glassed over and the glass has water running on it so it appears that the dock is full yet... Fortunate enough to see the ship at night due to attending a function. Museum is really well done and it's history fascinating. From the function rooms, to the bunks, and the engine room, takes you back to a past time so very well. There's the smells, the talking toilet room (very unexpected and amusing) and the stories behind them all.... More

It was just like any other ship ever made. It was so bad and costed lots. In fact, it was so boring i wish i had fallen of the edge for some fun.

Took my boyfriend to see the SS Great Britain. He thoroughly enjoy it. Very informative museum and the ship was laid out as it would many years ago. My first time looking round a ship and I found it interesting and intriguing to see the ships many rooms. Ticket valid for a year so worth the price.

Had a function here with 170 people and it was very good. Dinner was in the first class dinning room with drinks on the deck first. After dinner, disco in the bar and free and exclusive roam of the ship for as long as you want -great. A great night.

There is much to see about this historic and unique ship, so felt the ticket price was good value. We started by walking along the harbour in the sunshine, took the ferry over to the ship, and began our visit in the dry dock. The Museum was next, and as we didn't have time to do justice to the decks,... More

We'd heard great things and were not disappointed. Wonderful setting with ability to go below the waterline - fascinating re the construction, condition and propeller etc. The 'shed' before you go insider the ship has a comprehensive history of the ship and her times, and then to go on board was wonderful. Obviously as she was a hulk, almost everything... More

If you have an interest in things gone by this is a must. The ship has been so well restored and as we walked around we were just astounded at the hardships endured by paying passengers, not to mention the crew. Not only a very interesting visit but we learnt a lot too, definitely recommended.

It was not up to my expectations since most of the activities were shut due to winter: Probably my timing was bad
