To have such a superb piece of countryside virtually in the City is splendid. The only less than wonderful bit is the golf! Rabbits and green keepers have some sort of completion for the most holes on a green. Rabbits are winning I fear!!

Went last month for my cousin's 1st birthday party. It's a fantastic place for historical purposes, and families who likes picnics etc. Fantastic views of Bristol and beyond. Great to see hot air balloons taking of from there as well.

We visited yesterday on may 28th bank holiday monday! We came for a walk and a picnic with my children aged 9, 4 and 6 months. It was a lovely walk, and then we were surprised with a lovely reenactment of the battle of bristol!!...More

Stopped off for a coffee & a quick bite to eat when cycling the Festival Way, good coffee & a really good Pork & Black Pudding sausage roll. Set me up a treat for the next ten miles.

Acres and acres of beautiful countryside walks. You can get up close to the deer which is amazing. The is cheap car parking and cheap bike hire. A cafe that serves snacks and ice creams. Stunning views across Bristol. The only downside is that Ashton...More

Ashton Court contains a very nice drive I have walked a few times and a yellow façade which I believe is characteristic of the Regency style. Ashton Court is on the cooler, usually more breezy side of the Suspension Bridge, but it is not generally...More

Accessible for everyone, full tarmac throughout although there are some small speed bumps to slow cyclists down. Picturesque on a sunny day, cafe to grab drinks and a bite to eat from but don't expect it to be well stocked on sunny days. Car parks...More

Beautiful in both summer and winter, Ashton Court is an ideal place for a family walk or wandering around with friends. Lots to see from deer to stunning views right across Bristol.

Nice and quite with loads of deer to view. However the cafe was a little untidy and inconvenient with sky high prices to match so a must void place if we decide to come back. The home of the Bristol Air balloon show. Nice garden...More

On a sunny midsummer's day this is the place to be. Beautifully kept green space which will take you a few visits to absorb its richness. From horse, bike and jogging tracks to golf courses this place is simply beautiful. Not only that, somewhere in...More

There is! We've got a pitch and play golf course up at the top - £6.75 per adult which is the biggest golf bargain in Bristol (we think). Open 7am - dusk. Equipment available to hire, café serving drinks and snacks plus... More
