Camped at Ashton Court for the Let's Rock 80s and 90s. Had an amazing time on Friday and Saturday. Not so .good on 90s Sunday but that was mostly due to my personal taste as the 2 genres are very different and don't really mix...More

Great venue for a picnic, lovely and quiet for a walk and some good inclines for a challenging bike ride. It's host to music festival and various events and if you are ever in Bristol, I would recommend a visit. Good views too!

The grounds surrounding Ashton Court are beautiful and can match any needs to kill time, whether you're up for a little stroll or want to do something a little bit more active. A little out the way from Bristol centre, but walkable from Clifton and...More

Green space to relax in, very busy during events however, especially the Ballom Fiesta when parking can be a nightmare. Week days a calm space close too but just away from the busyness of the city. Parking is now way more controlled which is a...More

Ashton Court is a great place for a walk and the size of the estate means you can really get away from the crowds. The house itself is interesting from an architectural point of view and the cafe offers decent fare. Even when the Balloon...More

Lovely grounds with a café and different levels of walking. You can climb up to the top of the estate and you are rewarded with beautiful views of Bristol or you can just walk around the grounds with no uphill climb. Lovely for a nice...More

Spent a lovely couple of hours exploring the grounds. The highlight being a walk through a meadow with red deer almost within touching distance! What a privilege to see these majestic animals at such close quarters. The actual walk was a mixture of flat and...More

This is a lovely old estate which is now owned by Bristol Council. It is well kept, there are lovely walks, also a couple of reasonable cafes, and a 9 hole par 3 golf course. There are lovely views over the city from the higher...More

Headed to Bristol for a weekend with friends. We'd all travelled from flat Suffolk and Norfolk and thought we'd have a go at a local 5k parkrun. What a beautiful location and how accommodating the park is to put up with over 500 runners on...More

There is! We've got a pitch and play golf course up at the top - £6.75 per adult which is the biggest golf bargain in Bristol (we think). Open 7am - dusk. Equipment available to hire, café serving drinks and snacks plus... More
