Found these whilst visiting Bristol. Very old steps and alleyway, not much more to see as not many shops there

I remeber coming here many moons ago and revisited last weekend - rather a let down - too much rubbish and several empty shops made it less vibrant than it could be. This is a pity, as it could be more of a visitor attraction.

This is a very old street ,steep steps ,but very worth seeing gives you an insight in to what it was like in the times of sailing ships .

Pretty little shops route through the centre of Bristol. Always mentioned in tourist guides, but it's not astounding as far as tourist attractions go. Nice hideaway shortcut away from the traffic though. Steps - the clue's in the name - so I wouldn't recommend to disabled users.

Getting from one road to another and had to climb the steps. Very messy littered with empty cans and other detritus from itinerant drinkers.

Interesting climb up the steps that retain a good remnant of old Bristol - well worth a visit if you're in the area.

It was one of the first places I visited in Bristol. Just don't make the same mistake as I did, don't climb them with your suitcase. It's just a small street, but man you feel like in another town. The atmosphere is fantastic. There also is a Board Game Café that I wish I had had the time to visit.... More

We really liked the old buildings near and on the steps together with walking up the steps - it was like we'd gone back in time from the modern buildings around this area. There are some nice shops and cafes on that steps too.

A delightful area full of original shops and cafes.... haircut sir? Joining the older part of Bristol with the artisan areas of Clifton.... what better way to stroll along to the Museum. A must for anyone who delights in finding the unusual, the imaginative and can appreciate a change of architecture. It's a real historical walk.
