Beautiful heritage site, quiet and calm

A step into Bristol's past, right next to the harbourside. Feels a little like London with grand Georgian and Victorian buildings. worth a stroll through.

I am lucky enough to walk through Queen Square every day on my way to work. It is a beautiful square with a cobbled road. Cyclists share the footpath on one side. It is a lovely place to eat a packed lunch or there are a few cafes and pubs just off the square. You will not be disappointed and... More

It's nice place to sit when the suns out but when it rains it goes very muddy and messy so try to avoid it

Queen square is essentially just a green. Not a real tourist attraction. I would say to skip it, there are so many other spots to see in the city.

Queen's Square is about a 2 minute walk from the center of Bristol (Hippodrome) and is pretty nice place to eat lunch or sit down for a few minutes. It has a few sandwich places and bars on the corners of the square too. This is a nice little square that's far enough away from the center and close enough... More

We strolled through this area during our stay. It is a lovely peaceful area to get away from the hustle ad bustle, however, being a wintry cold and foggy day we did not sit around but just walked through.

A very nice short cut with some fine buildings surrounding The gravel paths intersect in all directions so keeping you off the grass if wet..

Perhaps not quite as impressive as Bath, some of the buildings around the square are modern, though in keeping, but still a lovely big green space with the king's statue in the centre.

This is a great spot to visit if you want to get away from the busy centre. Not far from the fountains and close to many great bars and cafes. The square is used for several great music events during the summer, some free and some ticketed. Great for sunbathing or a game of frisbee.

Queen Square it's the perfect place to relax in Bristol, it's very quite so you can take a book and lay in the grass or go with friends and have a chat. There're many coffee shops and small restaurants around if you want to grab something to eat. Also its location it's great, it's in the center of Bristol, so... More
