Attended a concert given by the University Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. Bright, pleasant venue with good acoustic. Good theatre bar serving a modest range of drinks (no food though).

I've just graduated from a music degree at Bristol and the Victoria Rooms are where our department is housed. Free lunchtime concerts are always of a high quality, there is a retiring collection if you feel like contributing! Built between 1838 and 1842 and designed by Charles Dyer on the basis that every British city should have a mock Greek temple somewhere near the centre, the Victoria 'rooms' was originally just that - a building full of rooms for assembly and performances.
