The Tracy Park Golf Course is in a beautiful setting and is a challenging but excellent course for the full spectrum of golfers. It has all the amenities one would expect at a top rated golf club from a new shop, bars, restaurant, and a driving range with buggies available for those who want to use them. It is a... More

We stayed at the hotel as part of a wedding (rather than golf) party. Our bedroom was spacious and well appointed and most of the facilities for the wedding celebration were of high quality. However, a few niggles prevented it living up to initial impressions: the bathroom lighting, although generally good, was inadequate for shaving or putting on make-up; the... More

There are some very good golf courses around Bath, Tracy Park is not one. Imposing entrance hides poor facilities for golfers. The shack of a pro-shop and players facilities is just bad. The course was average at best and signage getting around was rather absent. A serious disappointment considering the distance we travelled and courses we declined to come here.... More

What a course with spectacular views all the way round, cannot wait to play it again. Some very interesting holes very well kept fairways on the course with a few tricky greens. looking forward to playing the second course when it opens after refurbishment next year

My friend and I played the Cromwell Course a few weeks ago. Both of us are players at both the Celtic Manor and Llanwern courses in South Wales. We accept the recent bad weather in the region but both our courses are still in very good playing condition. To our surprise we found the condition of the Cromwell greens to... More

Was invited for a round at Tracy Park and played the Cromwell course, apparently the ugly sister to the Crown course that's closed for refurbishment. There's stretches of the course that wind their way through mature parkland and newer holes on the hillside. The course itself was a great variety of holes from long par 5s with trees in the... I've just had one of the worst, if not THE worst, golfing experiances. The Cromwell course (the other course is, so say, shut for re-furbishment) was in unbelievably shabby condition. Despite being the middle of May it was still winter rules though i suspect this was more to do with them not being cut and therefore indistinguishable from the rough.... More

My wife & I went for a 1 night 2 round golf package through Your Golf Travel website. The clubhouse was underwhelming being a pre-fabricated structure with limited facilities. The Cromwell course was one of the worst courses I have played. The tee boxes and fairways had not been cut and you could not distinguish between fairway and rough. It... More

The new management has already shown improvements in the dining room and menu. The staff where very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room itself was above average condition and lots of space. This a hotel I would recommend.
