We found this whilst wandering around. Really good space with a range of exhibits. I felt like I learnt a lot about the history Bristol as a first time visitor to the city. Great way to pass the time.

The first thing to state is that it's FREE. You could spend a day here and just about see all that's on display. If you're in Bristol this is a must do. Plenty to see, Plenty to do and the kids love it.More

It's not a big museum and can easily be seen in half a day or less. The highlights for me were the exhibitions on the slave history and the fight for rights - I'm glad they didn't shy away from those subjects!More

Did not have a lot of time but what we did see was very good & worth another visit. The history of Bristol was very enlightening and brought back memorices. Cafe was good value for drinks etc. The shop had an excellent range of gifts.More
