We arrived here at the recommendation from a friend. Both my boyfriend and I enjoy walking around cemeteries as they often offer a good historical understanding of an area. Arnos Vale was no exception -- a graveyard from the 1800s, it had fallen into disuse...More

This is a beautiful, quirky, wild, gothic, Victorian cemetary. It is a place to quietly remember the dead, but it's also a thriving testament to life, with something to appeal to all ages and tastes. There's plenty of history, local wildlife and rambles to enjoy...More

Wonderful bit of Bristolian history to be found here. Great wildlife and a good place to bring children. Good little café on site and also doggy friendly.
