We enjoy popping in here for a drink on our way to eat out in the village. The range of Belgium beers is great and Dee knows the range well and can make some really good suggestions.

The poster talking about bad service is talking absolute rubbish. This is a wonderful pub, well run by lovely people that do awesome food and beer. A brilliant place that is highly recommended. Pay no attention to that lady good people. :-)

A pub to visit if you're prepared to feel extremely unwelcome. Would not visit again based on rude service.

I'm not going to waffle on; this tiny pub built into the walls of a Regency terrace in Clifton is well worth a visit. It's wonderfully unmodernised, always has a good range of real ales on draft if you're into that, plus a good selection...More

This is a small pub with a cosy atmosphere. What really makes it is the friendliness of the landlady - nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely evening and will definitely be back.

Loved this place when I visited a few years back. There was no hot food available at 1600 on a Sunday, not even a bowl of chips. Bit mad considering how they market themselves. Beers were less interesting than before too. Still a great venue,...More

Sorry you found your visit to us "disappointing" With such a small kitchen we only cater for 20 Sunday roasts, some weeks we might only sell around 10 and others sell out by 1400hrs, and like a lot of pubs on Sundays only deal with...More

This is a proper, traditional pub. Slightly tired in the upholstery department, but quirky, atmospheric and an insight into old Clifton.

What a find this place was. A great, proper pub, selling pickled eggs and a great range of ales and beers. A real quirky little place, great for a beer and a chat and they are dog friendly. They also have a beer garden and...More
