This is to review the park area but only for the first weekend of June, which is the time for Strawberry Fair. Most parks in Cambridge have toilets that require at least 20p so make sure you take change out with you for a day...More

I have visited the common multiple times over the years, first seeing it during a Strawberry Fair in the 90s. It is a pleasant green sace, though not as manacured as some other greens in the city. It does provide some fresh air, and a...More

As host of the annual midsummer fair this is one of the more 'wild' open spaces in Cambridge which i thinks adds to its charm with longer grass and less crowds than the more neatly kept open spaces. The riverside path is very popular with...More

Midsummer Common provides a lovely walk. You can walk along the river and see the boats. Midsummer Common is usually the least busy common, in Cambridge city centre.

From fairs, to fishing, joggers, boats and a cold beer. Mid summer common has it all, or just a big area to play in.

This is the site of the Strawberry Fair and the fun fair as well. As such it does tend to attract scallywags and skulking packs of teenagers to be honest. It is in a nice central location and near the river, but there are definitely...More
