This is almost like a Roman Catholic cathedral. The church is open for visitors, although it's obviously a place of prayer and worship. I love it as a building and also as a place of worship.

Large, imposing and full of history. Rather dim lighting if photos wanted. The many side altars impress as well as the stained glass windows. Not far from the Grand Arcade so worth the walk.

This relatively new Catholic church has many notable religious artworks. Most impressive were the stained glass on a sunny day. The church was packed for Sunday services.

Impressive church at the start of hills road on a busy junction. Its a shame it is so busy and on the corner of a main street. Good architecture worth seeing.

Sacraments are performed here like Baptism, Confession, Marriage, Holy Orders, ,Anointing of the Sick...More

This large church is not old by the standard of churches in Cambridge being completed in 1890. It is built in the traditional cross shape with a tower in the centre. The English Martyrs that the church commemorates were Catholic martyrs who were martyred in...More

I gathered on a tour of Cambridge that King George V (I think it was?) thought this glorious building was an Anglican Cathedral and gave the town city status, making Cambridge the only 'City' without a Cathedral or Abbey Church! It certainly is very impressive...More
