A very unusual little church.

Was well worth a visit although very small it is very unusual in its rondal shape. Also gave an opportunity to take photographs of the two reindeers in a stall and santa's sleigh... read more

Recently re-roofed and refurbished, this little gem of a building stands on the edge of the central shopping area of Cambridge and offers a cool and inviting oasis on a hot day to sit and meditate. A warm and welcoming place.

It was empty when we arrived which is nice. No excursion groups pushing you aside. The whole history of Cambridge in a nutshell and reads away quickly. The church is beautifull and so is its history. Its excellent to visit the centre before you venture out into the place. There are leafleds with plenty of languages to read about the... More

The visitor centre is great to go to before touring Cambridge as it gives the history before you see everything! It's inexpensive too!

This is a stunning crusader church built by Knights Templar around 1130, inspired by the Church of the holy sepulchre in Jerusalem. Think da Vinci Code. It's tiny but lovely. The video, though, while claiming to be about the history of Cambridge was actually thinly veiled Christian propaganda - seeing every development of the city and university through that lens.... Was well worth a visit although very small it is very unusual in its rondal shape. Also gave an opportunity to take photographs of the two reindeers in a stall and santa's sleigh which were in front of the church entrance. Very pleasant young lady on duty at the main entrance to the church. Cost is £2.50 to visit inside.

A small beautiful round shape church building near Trinity is also used as a small information centre for the visitors showing history of Cambridge. A token entry fee to support the museum finances is taken from outside visitors. Interested visitors can spend some time here, otherwise you can give a skip as well.

We have a child reading at Cambridge and have been many times. Never ventured in here but did the other day and it is well worth it. If you want to understand Cambridge simply and quickly this is the spot. It would take about 45 minutes. The side panels are very instructive and there is a must see 20 minute... More

After walking past the Round Church several times, we decided to take a look inside. We were amazed to find a fascinating chronological history of Cambridge. One of the highlights of our visit to this area.

Somewhere if you are a local you don't visit very often or may even just pass it by, but it's worth a visit. I visited with a family member who is a local. Interesting displays and very historic. The tour of the history of the place and Cambridge on headphones is interesting but can send you to sleep as it... More

This old round church is no longer an active congregation but more of a museum. At almost £3 entrance it wasn't worth the visit unless one was interested in an overview of the history of Christianity in Britain. There are readable panels around the nave with facts and then commentary. I read them all and enjoyed the recap, felt it... More
