Great theatre and Dick Whittington fantastic

This is a review equally for the theatre as it is for Dick Whittington, the show was fantastic, brilliantly acted, funny, great music. Stand ours were Dick, the Rat and the Dame.

Went to the matinee and saw a brilliantly funny show very well acted. Robert Powell stole the show with excellent delivery of his lines and wonderful expressions that said a thousand words. The only thing that spoilt it a little was the small, uncomfortable seats with nowhere near enough leg room.

We enjoyed our visit to the theatre for Thursday afternoon matinee of 'Stepping Out'. We sat in the circle (3rd row back) which had plenty of leg room and a reasonable view. The seat row letters could do with being a bit clearer in low lighting. Staff were generally helpful.

Saw Hobson's choice on this occasion. Sat in the stalls which always affords a good view. The venue has been revamped in the last few years and the bar area above is very pleasant. The theatre itself is functional and comfortable and always hosts very good to excellent plays. I have always had good visits here.

We chose to go to the Cambridge Arts Theatre because of the actors in the recent production of Stepping Out. It was a well lit, comfortable theatre with nearly all front of house manned by helpful and friendly volunteers. The seating was comfortable and all seats had a good view. The auditorium was of traditional design' The only criticism is... More

We took our 6 year old grandson Jack to see this. He has already read the book and seen the DVD of the film, so was familiar with the story line. At first he was a little distracted - we'd got there early and he was getting restless- but soon got in to the swing of things..By the second half... More

This is now a modern theatre but is fairly well run and the view and acoustics are good. Bar is a bit pricey for a regional theatre

While a theatre is only as good as the productions it puts on CAT is a comfortable theatre and the staff are very helpful and welcoming. The price of ice cream seemed rather high. £3.50 for a small tub! It was our first visit and we travelled 40+ miles to see Observe the sons of Ulster marching towards the Somme.... More

Our first visit to this lovely, warm and welcoming Arts Theatre to see '84 Charing Cross Road'. It was an enchanting production in such a nice setting. We have already booked to go back to see one of the many other productions on the programme.
