We're the UK's number one charity zoo, with over 15,000 animals and 500 different species, including some of the most endangered species on the planet. With 1.9 million visitors every year, the zoo is an all-year round, full-day visitor attraction for everyone. We're open daily from 10am, except for Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Bare in mind that this review is of the park during winter. £52 for two of us to go in, comparable price to somewhere like Alton towers. A significant portion of the zoo was either being renovated or newly built, so many of the attractions...More

If you are prepared to rush around without taking the time to appreciate what you see you could do it in 2 hours or so. However, to get the best experience, allow a full day.
