You know those days, ones where you say to yourself "This could be anywhere"? Well, that was us today on Swanpool Beach. A lovely day 25th May 2017. Bright sunshine and real warmth, producing a turquoise sea set against the cloudless azure sky. Yes, we could be somewhere faraway, somehere exotic. Well, close your eyes, feel the warmth of the... Visited for an afternoon. Walked around the lake and love the ducklings and cygnets dashing about. The male swan is gigantic.....don't upset him....The café is quite good. Sandwich type food and quirky ice creams. I am going back for a malteser one

Falmouth is my probably my most favourite place in Cornwall. We tend to visit in the winter/spring and avoid in the summer. The beach itself is lovely and kept clean. Cafe on the beach, toilets and car park across the road. There is also a lake where the ducks/swans can be fed.

Lovely sandy beach with car park over the road. Cafe famed for ice creams with variety of added extras, e.g chocolate ginger; jelly babies.

Fabulous to visit off season away from the crowds, make sure you do the circular walk around the Swanpool lake whilst admiring the wild birdlife

Loved this beach and so did the many familes who appeared to be lapping up the sunshine . Plenty of facilities to eat eithon a picnic on the beach or sample one of the cafes . I imagine it will be very busy in the Summer months. We accessed the beach via the beach walk which was a wonder route... More

Had a lovely afternoon on the beach, but had to move our seats towards the path that leads to Gyllyngvase Beach. The wind was brutally cold and that seemed to be the only sheltered corner of the beach. The cafe on the beach is simple and okay. There are free public toilets on the opposite side of the road, next... More
