We spent around an hour or so looking around the two floors . Be aware that access to the lower floor is via steep stairs. The museum is staffed by volunteers who are really interesting to chat to. Definitely worth the £2 entrance fee for...More

Not the biggest of museums but plenty of enthusiasm from the volunteers and some really interesting background to the area. Worth an hour or so of your time to learn more of the area.

We spent 90 minutes or so looking around the two floors (steep stairs for the less mobile). You can see the bench where the magistrate sat and two of the tiny cells and there is an eclectic mix of items and photographs. Ok to while...More

I implore you to go to this place whilst on Looe, for only a £2.00 charge it is a great little museum but of local artifacts and history over 2 floors. Note the place doesn't open until 11.00

Its not big, but everywhere you look there are interesting things and folders to read. It costs the princely sum of £2 to enter, but its money well spent. The exhibits are numerous and set in a former courthouse and gaol. World war 1 &...More

Hadn't planned to visit this place but it started to rain so decided to take a look. So glad we did lots of interesting stuff to read and look at. Looe's past at its finest. Great story about the resident ghost. Well worth a visit.

The museum is tiny but informative. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic and the adult entrance fee is only £2.

This place is tiny but they pack lots in! Interesting to look around and see a bit of Looe's history. There is a quiz for the kids to help keep them interested and get them looking. The 2 ladies that were in on the day...More

Not for disabled as it is on 5 different levels. However it has a variety of exhibits including a hologram video which entertained my son enormously.
