We love visiting this beach when we come to Cornwall, it's got lovely soft sand, lots of room to have a game of ball and just generally nice to relax here

Staying at the Headland Hotel, Fistral Beach is located on the doorstep. Amazing watching the jetski competition whilst enjoying our meal at the hotel.

Parking for an hour is £1.80...not the cheapest in Newquay but not out of the way. The beach is clean with coarse gritty sand (not as 'sandy' as Crantock) and has lifeguards. There is a cafe which is not too expensive as well as the popular restaurants. I assume there were public toilets although we didn't notice them. Great for... More

Offers a perfect view of the lush deep blue sea. Perfect on a sunny clear blue sky day but picturesque even with a cloudy sky. It's close to the town, within a few minutes walk past the golf course you'll be on beautiful sandy beaches.

Fistral is one of a number of glorious beaches in or close to Newquay. For surfers or bathers the beach is superb. All the usual facilities, such as cafes and toilets are close by. At the north end of the beach, there are also rocks to clamber over. Lifeguards were on duty when we visited on during the season.

We were in Newquay for 5 days and went to Fistral Beach. The beach was absolutely beautiful. We were there on a beautiful sunny day!! When the tide goes out there is a huge beach to walk on. Watched surfers and really enjoyed our time. If you are traveling to Newquay, be sure to make Fistral Beach one of the... More

An absolutely gorgeous beach, genuinely breathtaking. I've never tried surfing before but after watching others I'm going to give it a go next time! Food and drink available, we went to The Stable situated right on the beach itself. Beautiful part of Cornwall.

I lived down the road for 6 years and as long as the beach isn't rammed for a tourist event this is the most beautiful place in the UK I've know. My best birthdays ever where a small fire or BBQ watching the sun go down over the sea. Please take your rubbish home and don't trash the dunes.
