Great beach located close to town. Good surf especially in winter. But the parking charges are a joke, why should you pay to go to the beach ? If it was Australia there would be riots. Great for a walk along in the evening. Gets very busy in summer sgot o get down early.

A great beach to visit as there is always something on (mostly surfers), it is safe to swim (obey the lifeguards) and there are restaurants at both ends. Good sand and rocks but do take care as the rocks can be dangerous if the sea gets up. Famous surf beach ... sit and watch teh surfers or do a bit... More

We loved it immediately, the overall feeling and vibe made us think of home which is Kenya, a very relaxed easy place to be.

Visited during a long weekend break in February. Beach was perfectly clean and looking fantastic. Facilities at the town end of the beach were good even out of season. Very impressed.

As a family we parked in the carpark close to the sea front. It's a long beach so good for walking dogs and teenagers to kick a ball about. It's interesting to watch the surfers. Just by the carpark is surfing shops where you can book surf lessons plus restaurants and ice cream shop.

Great for walks, surfing or just chilling in the bar and admiring the views. The shops and restaurants on the beach were good and seemed popular. There are various surf schools available that use the beach. The walks to and from the beach are also great, easy but with fantastic views. Great place for watching the sunset

Whilst there are more picturesque beaches across the UK. Fistral is the most famous, the most accessible and probably the most conveniently located. Home the the annual UK surfers festival, along with fantastic summer sunsets it really is hard to beat.
