Very clean, lots of dogs. Very entertaining watching the surfers, has a tendency to get very windy. Several restaurants available with a variety of food, quite pricy though.

Spent a week at the wonderful Fistral beach. Brilliant amenities including a very friendly beach bar/restaurant. Surf school with excellent instructors....even i managed to stand up (and I'm late forties). Had 5 youths with us and they were surfing and coasteering all week. No need...More

Worth the walk, away from Newquay town centre. This place is more like an Aussie relaxed beach! Big sandy section with a bar & restaurant at one end.

Came here as a couple, managed to catch some few great waves, better tourists/locals as they keep their trash in the bin (compared to Camber Sands...see my other review). Lifeguards are everywhere . Safe for children and dog friendly beach. Good local shops and pubs...More

We stayed right next to Fistral Beach so was there the majority of our stay. The beach is nice and clean with clearly structured swimming / surfing areas, also during peak seasons a life guard is on the beach which is also settling for families...More

Marvellous beach, lovely views and when you're lucky with the weather its amazing. Would recommend getting there early as it fills up quickly
