What a big surprise – starting with a manicured grass car park extension – with near new clean facilities and attention to detail. Fabulous tropical like gardens and plants, quite beautiful. Lovely cafeteria – with views to die for – one of the best places to see Portcurno Beach (telecommunications route to the world) and Marconi Hill opposite. And of... More

Oh Wow! Yesterday evening,as a treat from my daughter,we went to the Minack theatre to watch Flown by Pirates of the Carabina. The performance was excellent and the approaching darkness over the backdrop of the sea and cliff tops added to the wonderful atmosphere. It soon turned cold so if you do go to a performance dress warmly and take cushions... We visited the Minack Theatre and were very impressed with the absolutely stunning views overlooking Porthcurno Bay. We also visited the café and had a coffee overlooking the theater. Very impressive!

I love this place! Bit of a windy road to get to it. Plenty of parking when you get to the top. Check there isn't a show on when you go as you won't be allowed in (my last visit :( ) Amazing views of Porthcurno and the sea. Amazing how the place was built.

What a place. Must visit just to see this amazing location and what has been created many years ago. Didn't get a chance to watch a show which was a shame but still super impressive the surrounding area is breath taking. Don't miss out. Defo coining back to watch a show

Even though it was winter and not "play" season ...the spectacular accomplishment of building this unbelievable venue makes the story of how it was done is even more dramatic than the views out to the sea. We were just overwhelmed with the beauty and the unique setting! Not to be missed if visiting Cornwall- A photo cannot do it justice-... More

This is a stunning venue for a theatre - it is worth a visit even if there is no play on. For any play the beautiful and dramatic backdrop of the sky and the sea adds to the performance.

Spent an excellent morning at Minack Theatre, the puppets were playing to some lively children, the sun was shining it was just wonderful and couldn't believe it was all the work of a lady called Rowena Cade. What a legacy Rowena left for all the world. The cafeteria was excellent and there is plenty of parking.

Quirky place cut into the cliff with stunning views out to sea. Very popular so can get rather crowded. Nice to spend an hour or two and learn about how the theatre came to be. Cafe is too small to cope with the amount of visitors. Drive up can also get congested so be patient, be aware there are some... More
