Excellent first visit to Polgoon Vineyard. We had a lovely lunch of freshly made pizza which was excellent quality and great value for money. Staff were tentative and friendly and the outdoor seating area is stunning- had a lovely feel.
We did a tour of the vineyard with Bronwyn as our tour guide and we felt the tour was very interesting and informative. Made us appreciate the wine process! Bronwyn’s knowledge was excellent she gave a great tour and answered questions with ease. The wine tasting was really good and I even found myself a red which I actually liked. Bronwyn’s knowledge on the wines she served was top notch and she clearly knew her wines.
Will definetly be returning later in the season to see the vines in their later stages- and for some more lovely food and wine!
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who’s visiting on their holidays or even locals who want a lovely setting for a nice meal out.
Well done guys for creating a lovely day out for me and my hubby:) 5stars from us :)

We really enjoyed our tour and wine tasting at Polgoon. Our guide and professional wine maker was friendly, knowledgeable and really made our group feel comfortable. She explained how the wines were made as we looked around the rooms. We tasted five different wines with accompaniments, in their restaurant and had the opportunity to explore the aromas and flavours. This was a fun, relaxed experience that I'd recommend to any wine lover visiting Penzance. We are looking forward to returning, visiting the shop and trying their delicious pizzas very soon. Thank you.

Everything about our visit was absolutely perfect. We tasted a selection of all of the wines, the white wines in particular were phenomenal. The surprise stand out however for us was the cider. Mille our host expertly listed off the types of apples used, and because of her it convinced us to buy a big bag and box for home! The food was also very nice (especially the pizza), and Jord (I'm sorry I think I misheard your name when you told us I'm a bit deaf) was incredibly friendly and a joy to chat to. Overall, our experience was amazing and I can't recommend it highly enough!

Really enjoyed our afternoon at Polgoon - very friendly staff who are clearly passionate about their work. Lunch at the restaurant preceded our guided tour and wine tasting. Crab sandwiches for lunch were fresh and tasty but the pizzas on offer looked very tempting. Our tour was interesting and informative, largely due to the knowledge and passion of our guide. A little gem!

Our experience at Polgoon was absolutely incredible! We started with a tour led by Bronwyn who was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the vineyard's history and winemaking process.

The real star of the show (besides the wine, of course!) was the pizza. We opted for the Pepperoni pizza and it was phenomenal. The crust was perfectly cooked, the toppings were fresh and flavorful, and it paired beautifully with the wines we were tasting. It was the perfect way to end a delightful afternoon.

Overall, our experience at Polgoon was outstanding. We can't recommend it highly enough! Whether you're a wine connoisseur or just looking for a relaxing afternoon with delicious food and drink, this vineyard is a must-visit.

This was my first-ever vineyard visit, so I had no previous experiences to draw upon when rating this one. We had a most enjoyable lunch (pre-booked) in the small eatery there and then walked round on a self-guided tour of the vines. Following that, there was a wine-sampling with three small glasses, each a different variety of their grapes. The wine was so nice that my partner bought a case of 6 different ones to take home!

Visiting Polgoon Vineyard is an essential part of my annual holiday to Cornwall. Delicious food and exquisite wine and a great selection of gifts, makes the perfect end to the holiday. Really attentive staff, who make you feel welcome. The tours are informative and the tastings make it a great experience. I am looking forward to next year’s visit.

Four of us visited Polgoon vineyard today and had a really lovely morning. We had been given vouchers for a vineyard tour and we joined two other visitors (and their dog!) and our guide Emma gave us an informative and very enjoyable tour of her family vineyard, answering all our questions with enthusiasm and knowledge. The tour ended at the cafe where we tasted 5 of Polgoon's wines which were all delicious and resulted in us buying quite a few bottles to take home! We stayed for lunch sharing lovely thin crust pizza's, fries and Cornish cheese board. All in all, a very enjoyable way to spend a drizzly morning in Penzance and we would all recommend it!

We were visiting Cornwall in September 2022 and were looking for a local vineyard to buy some wine from. There’s a fabulous outside covered area with vines in the roof to enjoy our drinks, where we enjoyed the company of a little robin. Our visit to the shop encouraged us to visit again in October 2022, this time taking part in the vineyard tour and wine tasting. What strikes you immediately is that this is a family business and they’re very passionate about what they do. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel at home. Another appeal to me was that all their wine is vegan, an important factor to me. During the summer months pizza is served, when the weather becomes more unpredictable snacks like crisps, olives and nuts are offered. During our visit we discovered a gin tasting evening would take place later that day. I signed up for this, whilst my husband the designated driver, enjoyed their apple juice. This was a wonderful social evening with canapés, there were vegan options - which I thought was fab! After our experience at Polgoon we will regularly return on our holidays to Cornwall. Thank you so much for having us!

Did the tour. Emma was our guide.

Short visit to the vineyard and fermentation area, followed by a tasting of 5 wines. Good quality and informative.

Naturally we bought a few bottles in the gift shop!

The tour was £15 per head which was good value as it included the wine tasting.

Word of warning, we were on the 10.30 tour so, by 12.00 we had drunk a few glasses of wine. Felt quite 'tired' afterwards, so don't plan on doing much driving afterwards.
